Everyone and everything, including our planet, has a breaking point. Our goal at Breakpoint Studios is to raise awareness, providing insight on important issues that everyone should be talking about, and inspiring everyone to become best version of themselves.
What are we about?
Education for all
Our system of government was designed for a well informed and educated populace. When we become less informed and less educated, we become vulnerable. - Dr. Ben Carson
When a person genuinly wants to further their education so that they can persue a career they're actually interested in, they should be able to do so without getting into 100's of thousands of dollars in student loans debt that they'll be paying of for the majority of their life.
Healthcare as a right
How can we call ourselves the land of opportunity when we have so many who don't even have an opportunity to be healthy because they can't afford basic health care?
Let's end Poverty
Many people seem to believe that this is just a pipe dream, but in reality we're entirely capable of drastically reducing poverty. We can achieve this not by continuing to make poverty easier to live in through welfare, but instead actually giving everyone the tools needed to drive themselves out of it.
How can we expect anybody who didn't have the privledge of growing up in a wealthy family to succeed in life when they don't have the same opportunity's as everyone else? Many can't even afford to be healthy enough to work.
Every citizen who proves they're motivated enough to succeed in life through hard work and paying their taxes deserves healthcare and an education so that they can follow their dreams and ambitions without forcing them into massive amounts of debt. Only then can we call ourselves the land of opportunity.
Social Equality
It's sad that racism and sexism actually still excist today, it's true though, some people are really that ignorant and think they're better then anyone else based on what they look like or how they speak.
We're a community that does not tolerate intolerance. We believe that everyone on this planet is created equally and if you can't except that then don't bother trying to be part of our society. We don't want you here.
Respect for our Home
To think that all of the polution we create every single day doesn't have an impact on our environment is extremely ignorant. Some people seem to believe that no matter how bad we trash our planet, it's going to always provide for us. It's time that we get smart and start taking better care it before it stops taking care of us.
Getting Money out of Politics
An ideal system of government is one that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Sadly this isn't really how our government opperates today. Right now it's more of corrupt politicians, by the special interest groups and lobbyist, for the corporations, and then the people.
Our broken system is plagued with corruption. Many of our politicians get paid millions just by giving speeches and accepting large "donations" aka bribes through their foundations, which in return get their "donors" political favors. It's completely legal for politicians to take this money and then push bills through behind the scenes that don't do anything to benifit our society. It's time for the people to come together and demand that the corruption stops now. To learn more head over to Represent.US
We Talk Ideas
We don't waste our time complaining about how something went wrong, instead we like to take the time to understand why it happened, and then work together to figure out what we can do to improve the situation while preventing the same mistake from happening again.
Human beings are smart. When we're presented with a problem, there's nothing that can't be fixed when we put our minds together.
